Eldora Mountain Resort and the Boulder Convention and Visitors Bureau have teamed up to promote the Colorado city of Boulder as a winter destination. Not often thought of as a ski destination, Boulder offers nearly endless lodging availability during the winter months, including the holiday season. Lodging with lift ticket starts at $64.50 per person for a one-night stay. The Boulder Ski Escape vacation package includes a lift ticket at Eldora Mountain Resort, a short half-hour drive west of Boulder, and lodging from a choice of 19 Boulder hotels that represent a range of properties from the budget minded to high-end spa hotels.

In Boulder there are nearly limitless lodging choices, eclectic restaurants and streets filled with shopping. Boulder is also a sports Mecca with miles of hiking trails, bike paths and public open spaces in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Just 20 miles west of Boulder is Eldora Mountain Resort with its downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. The ski area sports 12 lifts and 680 acres of terrain for any ability level with a laid back local flavor.
